life has been very busy, a bit too over sometimes i think due to the change of my work schedule.

i got lots of things to update, but really no time.
i need to focus on my jap trip preparation now, doing some last min shopping (as usual)

1 Nov - Had our monthly meetups and this time is at Ramen Champion.

My spicy miso ramen

I think the ramen is somehow disappointing, or maybe is just that we did not get the right stall?

We tried 3 out of the 6 stalls but i think all are quite salty >.<

But all of the serving is quite big, as in we all cant finish... especially the ramen from the stall wq n sub got theirs.

9 Nov - Met up with the gals after work for dinner.

Went to this place (i think is a pub) to have our dinner

Not sure of wat to order and everyone ordered sausuages =P

Got the same snail sausages as wq but in neva order beer XD

5 Nov - Went to catch the movie 那些年，我们一起追的女孩

Waited very long for the show to come to Singapore!

Not a bad show actually,

but maybe becos i had already read the book before that y i feel that lots of details are missed out.

Their movie song is nice [=

Will be able to understand the lyrics better after watching the movie or reading the book [=

10 Nov - Meet up with Carmen and Dor after super long time and went to have ramen in Ion =)

I think I should try to take more pictures when having meetups with Carmen n Dor.

I realised I really do not have much pictures with them!

Did lots of wire crimping n reinstalling server OS.

Family celebration.

Actually already had a early celebration with my bro's birthday, so this is my cake for the year.

Touched as my sis went all the way to Thomson to get this Han's cake for me, some more its pouring on tht day.

(But OMG, see de 2 super big candle =X)

Got lots of practical gifts from my sis this year as I told them wat I need! haha

Initial plan is go settler's cafe, but after much discussion etc, finally we settle in Orchard Central.

Too bad yc is busy with her A lvl so didn join us...

As usual dinner + lots of chatting n then walk back to MRT station n go home.

I PASS MY PROBATION LE!! =D

haha i m quite happy as i passed my 3 months probation period =D

so i am officially a working adult le!

actually this 3 months passed very fast, as in more or less without me knowing and it passed.

still remember when i m quite trouble whether to take up the job not, and worrying that i cant even pass the probation XD

At tht time, i chose to gave up the position in big big companies and come to start work here. Although at first i am still quite doubtful whether is it a correct decision, as compare, working in a big companies will of course give a better portfolio and have all sorts of benefits...

but i am quite grateful i m now working here[=
although its small company, but also equally to lesser office politics and conflicts.
boss n colleagues here are also very willing to share with me their experience and knowledge, and i really learn a lot from them in this 3 months =D

No matter what, i still appreciate everything tht has happen =D

Yay!! i completed today Yellow Ribbon Run!

haha although its only a 6 km fun run, but yay... its still a marathon XD

happy tht i completed it, though a lot of things happen...

like we overslept n have to cab down to expo

like my sis n i havin a stomach ache and really feelin not tht well throughout de run

though i think i neva really run well, or didnt run as much as i normally can... but still a good experience[=

五月天追梦 3DNA 电影今天全岛现映!!

waited for very long and it finally reaches Singapore!
went to my first movie premiere party on 8 sept with my sis =D
Really quite a cool experience to watch a Mayday movie with all the Mayday fans!

got the free poster and blue light stick and we are ready for the movie!

3D specs on and all ready for the show!

The whole movie was nice, with the effects and concerts and stories[=
I am most amazed by how good the 3D effects are done, i think its even better than harry potter XD
I like the concerts parts the most, when the view is from the audience. It feels really realistic and it seems that we blend into the concert, especially the whole cinema ppl is wavin their blue lightsticks!!

To be fair, i think that there are some rooms for improvements oso, just like i think the whole movie seems so short..
and the 3 stories isnt tht touching and i think one part is even a bit lengthy (compare to the comments left by those who watches on 6 sept) >.<
oya and i arent very surprise for the stories as a lot appeared in the trailer le =P

Nevertheless, i think its still a good movie to watch and experience, even you are not a Mayday fans!

back to to update on wat had happen on 4 sept sun

dragged for so long as at first wanted to wait for the pics taken at the wedding dinner to be up first...

but oh well.

that sunday is a super chaotic and tiring day, thanx to me being too stupid and arrange too many things in a day.

as its the comex week, i planned to get myself a laptop.

but i m too lazy to go out on sat and hence i decided to get it before attending the wedding dinner.

I think i had think too highly of myself. This is the scheldue on that day.

Morning - Go and get my comfirmation letter printed

Noon - Meet JQ n YQ for lunch and get my things from them

Afternoon - Go collect my stuff at Orchard central and go Taka meet my sis and pass her the letter

- After which go Comex and meet my bro and buy laptop

Evening - Go home have a quick shower and meet colleagues 6.30pm at mrt station for the dinner

Night - Wedding Dinner

Due to de super pack schedule, i only have 1 hr to walk around Comex and got the laptop i wanted.

Dang Dang~
My new laptop =D
Overall the performance is ok, just that is not that light...
But oh well, at least i think it is quite worth as de very littke amount of money i invested in it XD

I once saw this laptop at other place and i think its cool, as the keypad area is very nice metellic apple green=D
haha and everyone who saw my new laptop keep sayin is very my style - GREENY! LOL

As promise, this is the post on wat happen on weekend [=

Saturday 3/9

At first i planned to go to Comex but ya I am too lazy to go out and thinkin of i should jus get the com on sun since i will be out on tht day.

So, decided to try out the tiramisu as i had already got the ingredients ready.

Actually Tiramisu is really easy to make, and the steps are not so complicated. This time i tried out the traditional Tiramisu, whereby its in layers of cheese mixture and the ladyfinger biscuits. I choose the receipe without cream and its those very soft cake which is not able to slice into pieces.

Ingredients as follows:

6 eggs
500g of mascarpone cheese, don't use substitutes
300g Savoiardi (lady fingers)
500ml strong Italian coffee
120ml dry Marsala wine
120g sugar
3 Tbsp. un-sweetened cocoa

Steps:

1) Separate the egg yolks and whites.

2) Beat the egg yolks and sugar into pale yellow mixture over hot water.

3) Gradually add in the mascarpone cheese into the yolk mixture and stir everything is combine.

4) Add a pinch of salt into the egg white and whip till stiff peak.

5) Fold in the egg white to the cheese mixture.

6) Combine the coffee and liquor.

7) Dip both side of the ladyfinger biscuits into the coffee and lay them in the cake dish. Spread half of the cheese mixture on top of the lady fingers.

8) Make another layer by repeating Step 7.

9) Sprinkle the top with cocoa powder.

10) Cover the Tiramisu with clear foil and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.

Dang Dang~

This is my end product!

Feedback from the cake is ok, just that the liquor is too much >.<

Yay here to update my happening last week life [=

Since i dun have de pics for the wedding dinner, i shall keep weekend events to the next post!

Met Subrina and HM last week twice for dinner =D

Wednesday dinner at MEDZS

Its also another restaurant whereby we are able to choose from different country cuisine.

Ate their Italian Chicken sandwich (dun remember the name) and the pic above is the waffle we ordered for dessert.

The food there is quite affordable as POSB/DBS members enjoy 25% off de bill!

We also tried their beer as they are having 1-for-1 offer and they got quite a variety of beers from different countries to choose from =D

After dinner, we agree to meet up on tht fri to go have a drink in the pub, as i haven try tht before.

On Fri, after havin a pepper lunch(its oso my first try XD) for dinner, we went to the pub HM sis recommend.

But think its due to fri night, all de pubs are occupied >.<

after which, we decided to go the 民歌餐厅nearby, since we all haven go before.

After reaching the place, things start to get very funny...

When we reach the place, its quite full and we follow the waiter who approach us and bring us to de seats.

The next thing we know we are actually brought and sitting right to the first row in front of the singer.

Its quite awkward, as we 3 are super blur and after sitting down then we know there is an entrance fee, which includes a drink.

We waited for quite long and looking confused, we have to walk to the waiter (who are always at the back) and request to change seats and explain to us how we can make our orders.

But oh well, its another kind of experience [= at least we managed to change to the back seats and we are able to tok more comfortably.

went to watch 2 movies for 2 consecutive weeks with family [=

First is this - Captain America

Not a bad show, and finally understand wat is captain america XD

but i think is kindof sad at the endin there

where they made a promise when they both knew it couldnt be fulfilled =[

Zookeeper!

Funny show with lots of cute animals and a bit of love story + trust and finding the own self

Seriously not a bad choice if goin with family and kids =D

Even the ending song whereby all the animal sing the song and they show they NGs scenes are very funny!

Bintan trip!!=D

have a great fun in Bintan, although the food is not really that fantastic and there isnt much facilities at the resort itself.

but i guess its becos it is newly bulit and not well-known hence the whole resort is not crowded and we do not have to wait very long before we can use them.

but i think to me the resort is suffient for a nice, relax weekend getaway =]

ok now new updates on my work.

hmm it has been about a month time since i m working in Vodien.

wat should i say?

so far so good? erm...

anyway what i can say is the people here are nice, just that i still haven find the right topic between us so i m like mostly quiet in office.

jobscope is ok, although i m doin very simple jobs.

but oh well, at least i m learnin very day, since web hosting n all the procedures n settings are so new too me.

received a job offer, but then still went for the next two interview because I had already agree to that.
Got positive reply from both now, and they requested I delay the reply to the job offer because of them need a second interview.

Now what? How should I choose?

one is security, one is networking + unix server, one is desktop support

how? all are different jobscope.

I know that the remaining 2 got a high chances of giving me a higher pay.

but I got other considerations...

like what if i reject de first one, and other 2 did not accept me in the end? and i really dun like de agency that intro me the job.... I dun like the condition whereby I need to pay them commission and compensate 80% of the pay if i quit within 3 months.

Ya i can fully understand that it is to prevent job-hoppers and be more fair to the employers. but sometimes is really uncontrollable, which I only realized the job did not suit me after i start work. or is the environment that i really dun like...

haix.... no risk no fortune.

But i really dun like risk.

haix wasted my day again.
an accident happened today, my sis boiled the water before she went to sch, and asked me to look after.
but then i only remembered until i went to the kitchen in the afternoon, and the whole kettle had dried up.
told my mom this she only mentioned that luckily that there isnt any much gas left, and the gas was used up when the kettle's water is dried up.
so she bought a electric kettle instead.
cos this chinese new year when we are out of country, my father also forgot that she left the boiled the water and the whole kettle tip melted.really hope that this incident wont happen again.

die ar~~ i m left with less than 2 weeks but i haven start preparing!!
oh no!!!

first is the steamboat + xiaolongbao buffet, then go coffee club for a drink

SUPER FULL!!

but i think de XLB buffet is overpriced.

at least there was laughter throughout the night =D

time passed super fast when we were chatting.

almost didnt got up the last train n have to cab back home.

actually the last train towards Jurong East had been left ago, but just nice that when sub n i reach city hall there was a last train towards Kranji [=

yay! so tht saves my cab n night rider fee. haha

all I think for the first week of de year is busy busy busy.
quite sad huh, actually I dun really feel very much in de different of 2010 n 2011
as it seems tht I m busy since a week before Christmas due to internal camp :(

hmm so without much "surprise ",
its 2011 now
n internship as say earlier, it's ending before I know
2011 is a year of change n decision!

前一陣子，好不容易拿起筆畫了畫，發現畫漫畫還真難耶。

那年，我還念國中，網路是個不存在的概念，

漫畫只存在於尋覓與緣份中。
想要看漫畫，要嘛就去那個狹窄擁擠的租書店，要嘛就去那間老闆表情很兇的書店。

突然間，一本與眾不同的漫畫，出現在我的眼簾。
那是我跟「超人巴力入」的故事起點。

在翻了幾頁之後，
我就像中邪一樣買下來，跑著把它帶回家了。
